How Fast They Grow!

Ohhh how cute is this bubba! Introducing the very lovely James who also happened to be one of our cover babes in our  Jinky shoot back in July. James was only 10 days old at the time and as you can see was one sleepy little bubba, he is now 12 weeks and what a charmer.

It reminds us just how fast time travels in those early days. Make sure every moment is savoured as before you know it you have a 10 year old on your hands and the saying “little people little problems, big people big problems” is just so true!

Would You? Could You?

Daily we receive a ton of emails at The Hip Infant, people kindly sharing with us the latest and greatest product they have on offer and enquiring as to whether it is something we may want to stock. They come from all over the world and yes we are very flattered to receive them.

Sometime there are things that really catch our eye as a would you? could you? kind of product. So we have to share this little beauty. The Baby care cart is a carry all that a parent can take out on walks in the sunshine (yes true) and have everything on hand that a baby could need. Now there seem to be a few flaws, where does the baby go? does it handle the rough and tough of the unpredictable suburban terrain? and lastly is it really necessary to take all of that out on a walk in the sunshine?

We have to admit we had a good laugh (well actually a huge tear inducing belly laugh really), but as to whether you think its a great idea of not we shall leave it up to you to decide.

Do We Have Any Christophers in the Crowd?

We made a Booo Boo and have a spare starsign  ID Tee with the name CHRISTOPHER on it. There’s a clincher though. It very much narrows the field…he must be a Taurus and a size 00 (approx 3 months)

Keeping The Little People Entertained

We could not even begin to imagine how many hours have been spent sitting on the couch feeding one of the little hipsters. All very lovely and with number one the experience was shear bliss, sitting there watching daytime TV staring down at a very delightful newborn. Fast forward to number two hipster and there we are trying to entertain  a somewhat enthusiastic toddler whilst feeding the newest love of our lives.Not a pleasant experience!

So in short we happen to think these fab new stamp sets and playbooks happen to be the hippest thing we have seen in some time. Imagine this contended toddler playing peacefully beside mum, talking interacting with mum and toddler having a great time, whilst she is feeding newborn ahhh bliss! it can be done.

So do yourself a favour get one, or three. Alternatively if you don’t have a youngen and know someone who does they make a great gift and a bargain starting at $17.95.

It Gets Better!

We would not have done these fabbo cupcakes justice by adding them to the blurb below, so we have given them their own post.

They make the perfect additon to the Hostess Blog Robot party, kids can mix and match them and make up their own robot.

Its Party, Party, Party!

With four little hipsters, hip headquarters is all about birthdays and of course parties! In my previous life I loved to entertain but these days it seems every ounce of entertainment energy is directed at working out how to keep 10 four year olds entertained for an hour and a half.

So anyway you could hear my squeals of glee suburbs away when I stumbled upon this fabbo Robot Party in my favorite entertaining blog Hostess With The Mostess (hot name hey). Such a simple concept but the look is awesome! and conveniently we have plenty of French Bull Robot plates & cups right here. You could even take it a step further and do a superhero party or a monster party and the best bit is the kids could take their cup or plate home instead of a lolly bag….trust me the mums will love you.

Regardless put aside an hour (or three) and  check out the Hostess With The Mostess like we said awsome!

Time To Get Creative

Before we go on we need to put a disclaimer on this post….Beware you will get addicted and you will waste time! but wow we have not had this much fun on the WWW since it first came to life.

Polyvore is an online site that enables you to create fashion looks, nursery scapes and well pretty much anything.  Its really simple just collect images from your favorite sites and create.
